Video Create Shared Calendar In Office. Now I am not sure what the purpose of your shared calendar is but I would suggest a RoomResource Calendar in Office 365 for this. By default your primary calendar will be shared.

Any member of the shared mailbox can create view and manage appointments on the calendar just like they would. You can add one event at a time or a bunch of different events all at once. Click Open Calendar in the ribbon Create New Blank Calendar.
Click on the profile picture in the upper left to view the list of calendars click the icon in the upper left and select Add Shared Calendars.
In the Outlook app go to calendar view and select the shared mailbox. Under Duration enter a date in the Start date and End date boxes.
